5 Ways to Prevent Wrinkles Naturally

Wrinkles are a natural part of aging but the rate at which they affect your skin can be somewhat delayed by following certain healthy habits.

Factors that destroy your body such as smoking, eating refined sugars and processed foods can all cause premature aging, wrinkles, acne and more. In addition, skin, nails and hair all lose their health.

Your diet plays an undoubtedly important part in the way your skin looks. Sugary/starchy foods are key factors in creating many concerns.

To keep skin looking healthy, it is advised to stay clear of sugary, oily, refined foods along with red meats. Eliminate refined carbohydrates, processed foods, artificial sweeteners, trans-fats and foods with chemicals. Instead, include more health boosting foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meats and sources of healthy oils like nuts and seeds.

At the same time, drink lots of water to flush out any toxins. Water also helps keep the skin well hydrated from the inside out. It is often dry, non-hydrated skin that will start showing the appearance of wrinkles first.

Sun exposure is another factor that can age the skin prematurely. UV rays can damage otherwise healthy skin quickly, so it is important to wear sunscreen before stepping out.

Exercise is good for skin as it helps unclog pores by perspiring and reduces stress. Regular exercise is beneficial in keeping muscles toned, and keeps collagen and elastin activated for skin rejuvenation.

Exercise also reduces stress which is in itself damaging to the skin. Stress damages skin in the form of breakouts, acne, and premature aging.

Wrong dietary choices and stress can cause inflammation which steals your beauty, lowers your mood and reduces your energy. It is also the root cause of many chronic diseases.

Sleeping is also an essential part of skincare. To avoid skin looking tired and washed out, get a good night’s sleep for 7-8 hours nightly.
