I am Eva. I’m certified as a Culinary Nutrition Expert from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. I’m also certified as a Holistic Health and Nutrition Coach from the Nutraphoria School of Holistic Nutrition. I am based in Montreal, Canada. I speak English, French and Greek.

I love to be in the kitchen. Check out my cooking demos on YouTube & Instagram @plantbased_eva. I hope to inspire you to join me in the kitchen and start cooking meals from scratch using real food.

No matter where you are right now on your own personal journey, I hope the cooking demos and the blog will inspire you to eat real food and live a more sustainable lifestyle.

The recipes I showcase on this website and social media are filled with plant-based foods, but you don’t need to be a vegan to make them. Whether you’re fully committed to a plant-based diet or simply plant-curious, there’s a space for you here!

My Food Philosophy

I eat mostly a whole food plant-based diet, or at least I strive towards it.

To simplify, here is the difference between, plant-based, whole food plant-based and vegan.

  • “Plant-based” refers to a diet that solely or primarily consists of plant foods.
  • A “whole foods, plant-based diet” also excludes oils and processed packaged foods.
  • “Vegan” indicates that animals are excluded from the diet, products, and lifestyle.That means no leather, no wool, and avoiding bath/body/beauty products that come from animals.

I mainly focus on adding more plants on my plate. Leafy greens, vegetables, fruits, legumes (beans & lentils), whole grains (like quinoa, millet & oats), nuts & seeds and healthy fats & oils are part of my plate. The more colors, the better.

I try to avoid as much as possible highly processed foods and foods with added sugars and refined products. I also avoid gluten and dairy during the last few years due to sensitivity.

I don’t identify myself as vegan but I completely respect those who do.

I aim to educate, inspire and empower you with healthy recipes, beauty & lifestyle tips. My mission is to help you live a happier life and getting you back in the kitchen cooking with real ingredients.
